This page describes how to join LVPC by using our membership and booking system that we operate through WebCollect. First of all, you will need to go to www.webcollect.org.uk/lvpc

You will arrive at a home page that looks like this:

 

 

 

 

 

To become a new member of LVPC, look for the ‘New Members’ heading in the lower part of the page, and in the right-hand column of text. Select ‘Join here >’

You will now be on our Subscriptions page that sets the types of membership that are available and the fees that need to be paid for that membership.

Please note that you are not a member of LVPC until you have completed an LVPC membership form, paid the correct membership fee, and, been accepted as a Member of the Club.

Choose and select the membership that is appropriate for you by selecting ‘Quantity’ (the default is 1) and selecting ‘Add to basket >’

Then, select ‘Checkout >’ in the top right corner of the page. If you wish to, you will also be able to check what you have selected by viewing ‘My Basket >’. 

You will then be taken to our ‘Sign in’ and ‘Sign up’ page. If you are already registered with WebCollect then login by entering your email address and WebCollect password.

If you are new to both WebCollect and LVPC, then you will need to choose one of the options under ‘Sign up’.

You will be asked to enter basic identity information (first name, last name, email address) and to choose and input a password for your WebCollect account. 

At this stage you are only joined up to WebCollect (your email address and password enable you to login to your account) and we will need you to follow the prompts to complete the LVPC membership form, and make the payment for your membership. Within the WebCollect system these are called and shown as ‘subscriptions’.

The page opposite shows what your WebCollect account page will look like if you have not yet completed your LVPC membership.

You will be able to checkout for your chosen membership once you have completed the fields of the LVPC membership form including the consents at the end of the form.

You will see prompts and fields for the information required including your address (as opposite).

When completing the LVPC membership form, please have to hand, if you possess them, your Paddle UK (British Canoeing as was) membership details, and your Lee Valley White Water Centre details. These memberships are not essential to you joining LVPC, but if you have them, it assists LVPC financially and operationally to be informed of them.

When the membership form is complete, you will be able to complete the Checkout with what is in your Basket.

We use PayPal services for online payments and you will be taken to the payment page that gives you the option to pay using your PayPal account or debit/credit card. These transactions are dealt with by PayPal and LVPC only receives confirmation details of payments made against a reference identification. Your financial details and payment account details are not shared with LVPC.

Now that you are signed-up and have paid, your application will be processed by LVPC’s membership team. Please be aware this is not an automated process, and, LVPC is run by volunteer members of the Club. We try to confirm memberships just as quickly as we can, and you will receive an email from our Membership Secretary to welcome you as a member and confirm details about the Club. After that, we look forward to seeing you on the water!
