It\u2019s designed to bring paddlers, clubs, coaches, and the wider WWR community together to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Build confidence on moving water<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Develop transferable white water skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Introduce and grow Wild Water Racing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Create a shared pathway from learning \u2192 confidence \u2192 racing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Establish something sustainable, repeatable, and meaningful<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event is about working together \u2014 not just turning up and racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s about lowering barriers, sharing knowledge, supporting progression, and creating an environment where people feel welcome, encouraged, and excited to push their paddling a little further \u2014 at their own pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re laying foundations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For paddlers. For clubs. For the future of white water paddlesport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who Is This For?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone. Absolutely everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our guiding principle is simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Start with what you\u2019re comfortable in \u2014 then take the next step with support.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Progression might look like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>GP \u2192 Slalom \u2192 Wavehopper \u2192 Wild Water Racer \u2192 Learn C1 \u2192 Try C2<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day has been shaped to feel welcoming, supportive, and confidence-building. It\u2019s particularly well suited to paddlers who are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 New to white water<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Curious about Wild Water Racing but unsure where to start<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Confident on flat water and ready for the next step<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Slalom or wavehopper paddlers wanting more time on moving water<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Experienced racers who want a fun, social, high-energy race environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Juniors, seniors, masters, families, clubs \u2014 if you paddle, you belong here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve already received a lot of enthusiasm from paddlers and clubs, which is fantastic to see.
